Alton Park is a large Junior School with a 4 form entry. They strive to provide their children with an education that challenges to ensure they fulfil their potential. They encourage self-belief and determination to achieve personal potential within a caring community. They promote respect and tolerance within school and the wider community which prepares their children for life in modern Britain. Their key aims are Achievement, Sharing and Caring.
The Challenge
To develop a new logo for a Junior School using the elements of the existing logo and colours. To be used on a variety of items and needs to be flexible, new and traditional – an evolution rather than a revolution.
The Solution
Based on the existing logo, Pylon used a different illustrative and graphic style to develop a new shell logo that echoes the historical aspect of the school and location but as a fresh, modern version. The school name and strap line wrapped around the shell in a bold keyline that created a unique and eye-catching logo.
