Project Description

Alton Park is a large Junior School with a 4 form entry. They strive to provide their children with an education that challenges to ensure they fulfil their potential. They encourage self-belief and determination to achieve personal potential within a caring community. They promote respect and tolerance within school and the wider community which prepares their children for life in modern Britain. Their key aims are Achievement, Sharing and Caring.

The Challenge

Following the creation of a new logo and set of illustrative sea creatures for Alton Park Junior School, the brand needed to be applied to a stationery set as Word templates to be used and printed in-house. Pylon Design were commissioned to also outsource the printing of a series of business cards to be designed as part of the stationery set.

The Solution

Alton Park Junior School are part of a Federation of Schools also including Holland Park Primary School and consequently, the design of any item must have a look and feel that works together while retaining their own identity. The Alton Park stationery range follows that designed and produced by Pylon Design for Holland Park, changing colours and replacing their human characters with Alton Park’s sea characters. The result is a brand-led stationery range that works alone or in conjunction with Holland Park, as a bold, recognisable and functional solution.
