– not just a new school website.

Consultation

Before we start any creative, we’ll need to get to know you and your school. We’ll hopefully discover what makes your school unique and special within your community. We’ll discuss what your school web design aspirations and where the previous one was failing. We’ll suggest plenty of recommended features you can include for launch, or at a later stage.

Design

Everything starts with your existing school branding and logo. We’ll use these, and any recent photographic resources, as potential sources of inspiration for a design concept. We’ll take into account any preferences you may have for layout, colours and typography and ensure deliver a school website that reflects your school’s identity and ethos. We’ll then present you with static visual mockups for feedback.

Build

Following your approval of the school website design concept, we can crack on with coding, pixel pushing and configuring the requested features for your new site. Relax while we work our magic and watch it come to life, page by page, on our staging server.

Populate

By now you will have prepared and sent all your final content (digital files of text, images, documents, audio and video) for us to pour into your new site. Alternatively we can extract this from your previous site. Then we’ll layout all your pages beautifully. You’ll communicate directly and regularly with our designers and developers to ensure everything is to your satisfaction.

Launch

It’s time to reveal your new school web design to the masses. Maybe have a marketing campaign and a little celebration? Relax in the confidence that it will look great on current browsers, whether on desktop, tablet or mobiles. Review your website statistics and watch your parental engagement soar.

Training

Our CMS is simple to use to keep your new school website up to date with fresh content. It’s also extremely powerful and extensible under the hood! We’ll set up your Website Champion and any other staff who require access with relevant access permissions. We can then provide a suite of ~50 up to date training video tutorials within the website admin area. Bespoke, on-site training is also an option.

Support & Maintenance

Launch was just the end of the beginning. We’ll encourage and support you to become a web wizard. Your WebSafe maintenance contract covers maintenance and support. Leave the technical stuff to us as we ensure your site is running the latest software, backed up daily and performing optimally at all times. Stuck or need some assistance? You’ll never be on your own with our telephone and email support.
