Prendergast Vale School are building a family with academic excellence at the heart of everything they do.
Prendergast Vale School, cater for both boys and girls of all ages from 3 to 16. Their aim is for every student who leaves the school at age 16 to be on the path to university leading to successful careers with good prospects. To make this happen, they ensure that the academic and social development of every student is at the heart of what they do. Not only should students have well regarded qualifications when they leave school but they will also acquire character traits that will enable them to be successful in life. Traits such as optimism, resilience and confidence are developed throughout all subjects and through extra curricula activities.
Prendergast Vale School are a very special community; as their school motto says ‘in perpetuum discimus’ – we are forever learning.
Pylon were asked to provide two banners to be installed around the perimeter of the school. One banner was to display the dates and times for various Open Days to encourage prospective parents to visit the school. The other was to work with the Open Day banner and highlight that the school had been acknowledged as a good provider by Ofsted. The banners had to follow the brand guidelines for the logo, colour and typography. The dates and Times and the Ofsted quote had to be in prominent positions and have the required impact for parents, children and the public when passing by.
Pylon Design utilised the Prendergast Vale Schools logo and developed ideas based upon the corporate colours and typefaces. Pylon incorporated supplied photos spanning the full width and depth of the available areas. The school logo and Ofsted logo are used strongly, bold typography helps to attract the attention and the engaging images help to entice the passers by to look at and read the information being portrayed.
