The Microblading Expert is a new small business venture working with the latest durable cosmetics, known as Semi-Permanent Cosmetics, Permanent Make-up, Derma Graphics or Cosmetic Tattooing. It is a cutting edge aesthetic treatment for men and women which employs the latest techniques to achieve lasting colour or definition. Semi-permanent make-up means no extra make-up in your handbag, no smudging or running, and an immaculate finish come rain or shine.

Microblading is a semi-permanent tattooing technique that creates hairlike strokes to fill in sparse or thinning brows. The practice aims to give you an effortless full brow – no need for expensive brow pencils or gels. Cosmetic tattooing, unlike body art tattooing, is much more superficial to the skin, the inks are also much more degradable. Your own immune system will digest the ink and also push out the pigment as well. Over time these looks tend to fade, lasting for one to three years depending on your skin and lifestyle. Microblading does require touchups yearly or bi-yearly, but you won’t be stuck forever with eyebrows that you don’t like, if you are not happy with them.

The Challenge

The Microblading Expert required a business card that promoted the new identity and developed the brand, demonstrating its flexibility. The appearance must reflect the logo and look elegant and expensive.

The Solution

The Microblading Expert logo had to be prominent and Pylon Design placed this on the reverse of the card with the textured background. The front of the card is a white background creating a strong contrast between the two sides. The simple, elegant typography is clear and readable on the clean white surface with a mixture of charcoal and copper colours. The sophisticated solution and the flexibility of the logo, enables future projects to develop the brand further.
