Haseltine Primary is a school in partnership with Fairlawn Primary school. Staff, governors and children work together to harness each other’s strengths and expertise so that children are offered the best possible education. Haseltine Primary School approached Pylon Design to create some custom school gates for them.
At Haseltine they aim to create a happy school where the learning atmosphere is relaxed and conducive to high attainment. They believe that every child should learn the skills for life long learning and be supported to develop as good citizens who contribute fully to their community. For the children to reach their full potential they need to work in partnership with their parents, carers and colleagues. Helping children to do their best is vital and working in partnerships allows Haseltine to understand what children are learning and what they are able to achieve.
The Challenge – to design & install new custom school gates
Following regular improvements to the school and grounds, it was felt that the old gates no longer provided the required security or an aesthetic value now associated with Haseltine Primary School. The challenge was to create and produce three single custom school gates and one pair of double gates that are creative, secure and safe.
The Solution – on-brand custom school gates
Using the Haseltine Owl logo and elements of the brand, Pylon created an overall image that reflected the innovative ethos of the school. A local metalwork craftsman was sourced and commissioned to produce and install the unique, custom school gates. The final result is a spectacular solution that have become the focal points of the various school entrances.
