castle-davis is a design focused construction consultancy, expert in bespoke project and cost management. The company was formed in 2003 by Andrew Dufty and has gained extensive experience working collaboratively with in-house and external project and cost managers on projects with the world’s leading architects, engineers and designers on development, masterplan, new build, extension and refurbishment.

Complex projects can involve many people; their contribution and responsibility are interwoven and interdependent. castle-davis’s responsibility is to reduce risk, optimize programme and agree costs, while striving for excellence in coordinated design, procurement and construction, creating value for discerning clients.

The Challenge

A sophisticated, clean and professional site that focused on the varied portfolio of castle-davis and supported by minimal copy was the brief supplied by the client. The use of the corporate brand including the logo, colours and typefaces had to be prominent and lead the design and overall visual appearance.

The Solution

By incorporating the strong corporate identity, Pylon Design created and built this new website from a mobile-first perspective and delivered a mobile-responsive site giving the client full control of content creation.

The menu system is clear and simple allowing the reader to navigate easily throughout the site, while the inclusion of a photographic led portfolio of the projects undertaken by castle-davies endorses the quality, creativity, expertise and professionalism over the 20 years since the companies formation.

The sympathetic use of the existing identity, the thoughtful use of the corporate colour and the introduction of a complimentary typeface as a streamed web font, has resulted in Pylon Design creating and developing an exciting, responsive, informative, content-managed and bespoke website that reflects the modern, elegant, clean and professional requirements of castle-davis.
