The WH Smith chain were keen to sell the Autodotbiography product within their stores and required a logo that echoed the main logo but which needed to be more explanatory to the end user. The logo was to be rolled out on the presentation stand in chosen stores.
Pylon Design Consultants London introduced a stylised figure reading a book in the colours of the corporate brand to suggest more of what the product was about. Bold, corporate typefaces were used with the introduction of a script face that introduced a personal feel to the logo. The final logo is strongly corporate with the existing brand yet is more informative about the product and suggests a more friendly and personal solution.
